World Rugby can confirm that the following players will have their cases heard by a Foul Play Review Committee (FPRC) on Friday, 3 July, 2026.

  • Spain #23 Mateo Aragon, France v Spain, citing for an offence contrary to Law 9.12 (verbal abuse)
  • Georgia #3 Levani Ezieshvili, South Africa v Georgia, red card for an offence contrary to Law 9.13 (dangerous tackling)

In line with the expedited off-field sanction trial, operating for the World Rugby Junior World Championship 2026, the citing window is 12 hours following the final whistle. The FPRC will ordinarily convene after each matchday to review red card incidents and citings. If required, all full disciplinary committee hearings will be conducted ordinarily with 48 hours following the relevant match.
